Value Chain
Traceability & Value Chain Management
Coffee, tea, macadamia, avocado, herbs and vegetables — traceability, mass balance and value chain compliance from farm to buyer.
Course overview
Cash crops such as coffee, tea, macadamia, avocado, vanilla and cut flowers underpin household and national income. Buyers increasingly require proof of origin down to the plot.
We build traceability systems that work in the real world: simple codes, honest mass balance, and recall drills that actually run.
What participants will be able to do
- Design lot coding and identification from farm to dispatch
- Reconcile mass balance across aggregation and processing points
- Run and document mock recall and withdrawal exercises
- Collect geolocation and producer data for deforestation-free claims
- Manage supplier approval and incoming material controls
