Crop Protection

Safe & Responsible Use of Pesticides

Protect workers, consumers and the environment through correct handling, application and disposal of plant protection products.

1–3 days Beginner Spray operators, scouts, store keepers, supervisors

Course overview

Maximum residue level (MRL) rejections and worker exposure incidents almost always trace back to habits at the farm level: wrong product, wrong rate, wrong interval, wrong protection.

This hands-on course combines classroom sessions with field practicals on calibration, mixing, application and triple rinsing so that behaviour actually changes after the training.

  • Select, use and maintain personal protective equipment correctly
  • Calibrate knapsack and motorised sprayers for accurate dosing
